You can be selfish as a mother and care about your kids at the same time because your sense of self expands to include them.

There's always room at the top

Here's one I don't think I've added before: There's always room at the top. It basically means - if you're great at what you do, it doesn't matter if there is someone else out there who is also great at what you do, because the world always needs, enjoys and appreciates greatness.

The competition is just below the top. It's quite squeezy there. But when you get really good, competition falls away. There's plenty of room at the top.

Mom on how to get rich: There's a constant flow of money in the world, and you just have to be near it and dip into it every once in a while.
