Work first, play later
That one didn't really stick as well...
Are there things your mother "always said"? My children claim I do, and though at first I doubted it, this collection of my favorite opinions and beliefs is for the pudding of which they are the proof.

I can't really believe I said that.
Didn't I say "Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first"?
What I did say was "Work Hard, Play Hard."
What I believe is that projects where people laugh a lot and also care a lot about what they're doing so that they also work hard, are projects that are more likely to succeed. I don't know if people laugh when they're working on a good project because they're basically relaxed when everyone is working hard, so they expect it to succeed, or if it's the laughter which creates the condition for success.
